Garden View is the San Gabriel Valley’s landscape maintenance and gardening company. We generally service:
Don’t underestimate the level of professionalism that comes from a well maintained commercial property! First impressions are everything, and making your customers comfortable is worth its weight in gold. All of our crews travel in well-equipped trucks, containing all of the tools needed to take on the largest of commercial properties; including riding mowers, hedge trimmers, blowers, irrigation repair supplies, chemicals, and much more.
Garden View has explicit experience in dealing with Homeowners Associations. We know what it is like dealing with a board, let alone an entire community of people that all seem to have a different idea of what is in the best interest of the HOA. We are professional in mediating between residents, boards, and management companies to create a landscape in which everyone can enjoy and be proud of. Although a seemingly easy task, it rarely tends to be the case. The fact is that people care about their homes, and at Garden View so do we!
High Value, Efficient Service
Garden View is rarely contracted to landscape maintenance because we have the cheapest price—but because we are the best value. We will be the first to tell you that you could find someone else to do the job for less, but we challenge you to find someone who will do it better. Our pricing is always competitive and our bids are rarely far out of the ballpark, but the difference in quality is always significant. Another thing to consider is how much the value of a home increases with a good landscape. A beautiful property inside and out creates a financial value that significantly outweighs that of the gardening service.
In short, our goal is to provide the best landscape maintenance your dollar can buy. We intend to make communication easy, the properties beautiful, and increase quality of life of those who live in our maintenance properties. Please give us a call and we would be happy to come by and bid your project. Free of charge!
Value, quality, & unbeatable communication make Garden View your ideal landscape maintenance company. Our award winning crews are well equipped and prepared to turn your property from weeds to wonder!
Water-Wise, Environmentally Friendly Landscape Maintenance
Understanding the basics of water-wise gardening is essential. Wasting water is not only expensive but also disgraceful in today’s environment.
Over-watering is the norm. It is easier to over-water than to monitor and readjust the systems. It is easier to have the controller watering enough that even if the weather turns hot and windy the system will make sure there is enough water for the plants to survive any condition.
The problem is that the plants develop shallow roots when watered too often. Even though there is moisture deep in the soil, the plants, trees, weeds, and grass are all competing for the moisture in the top few inches. You end up using much more water than if the plants were trained to have deeper roots. See our article on deep watering…
Most irrigation systems are very inefficient. Some areas may be getting 4 to 5 times as much water as another on the same valve. This means that in order to get enough water to the weakest area, the other areas may be getting 5 times more water than they need.
One of the first things Garden View does is an irrigation precipitation and efficiency test. We usually find that with some minor adjustments and/or adding a sprinkler or two, we can save an enormous amount of water. See our article on sprinkler efficiency…
There is much more to it than this. There are many ways of cutting water use and still keeping a lush garden. Let us show you how!
