Native from Central Mexico in Querétaro to Mexico State. This hardy agave tolerates to 17°F and while it prefers good drainage, it tolerates many soils. Rosettes less than 2 ft. wide; narrow dark green leaves are lined with white and edged with long white threads that provide year-round interest. Produces dramatic 8ft spikes of yellow flowers in autumn and winter. Good accent plant. Adapted to very hot and dry locations.
