Populus fremontii

  • Full Sun – Deciduous Tree
  • Regular Water; Tolerates No Water Once Established. Water-Wise

Native to California and central Rockies south to Mexico. To 40 – 60 ft. or taller, 30 ft. wide. Glossy yellow-green, coarsely toothed, virtually triangular leaves are thick textured and turn bright lemon yellow in the fall. Tree has aggressive surface roots—Keep away from concrete. Only male trees are sold.
