Evergreen perennial from tuberous roots. Has large clumps of arching, sword-shaped leaves. Clusters of flowers appear at the ends of leafless stems that stand above the foliage. Grows to about 2½ feet and should space that far. Few plants are tougher. They adapt to any soil and are trouble free. Can tolerate moderate water and light drought, but look best with regular water. Water Regularly to avoid dormancy.
