Buxus microphylla var. japonica

  • Full Sun or Shade – Evergreen
  • Regular Water

Hardy to -10°F, but looks bad in cold weather areas. Takes dry heat and alkaline soil, but struggles in intense heat, saline soils of desert. Grows slowly to 4 – 6 ft. tall and wide if not pruned. Most often clipped as hedge or shaped into globes, tiers, pyramids in containers.
