Native to California.  Small, ornamental, deciduous tree.  Most often seen as multi trunk, though trained as single trunk is common.  Beautiful small pink/purple blossoms show in Late Winter/ Spring before leaves.  Heart shaped green leaves follow bloom period.  Resistant to oak root fungus.
