Native to Brazil. Grows 25 – 40 ft. high, 15 – 30 ft. wide. Finely cut, fern like leaves usually drop February – March. Bloom is possible any time from April to September, likely near June. Beautiful form and color when viewed from any angle. Flat, rounded seed capsules follow flowers. Resistant to oak root fungus. It tolerates a wide variety of soils. Flowers can be messy.
