  • Regular Water. Soak young trees often, old ones less

Fast growing to 25 ft.; can reach 35 – 50 ft. eventually. Well ripened wood will take 18°F with minor damage. Blooms late spring to early summer, bearing clusters of apricot to yellow, sweet pea-shaped flowers. Blooms follower by 2 ½ in. winged pods. Flowers best in warm summer areas out of immediate ocean influence. Great street tree. Great patio or shade tree. Takes most soils. Needs to be trimmed regularly at young age in well watered area to keep shape.
