SONOMA COUNTY, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2025) — Garden View Landscape, Nursery & Pools is proud to share that we were recognized with six “Best in State” awards at the 2025 California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) State Trophy Awards, presented during CLCA’s 2025 Annual Convention in Sonoma County (Nov. 5–8).

The CLCA Trophy Awards are widely respected because entries are judged in the field and evaluated on both artistic and technical merit. In 2025, CLCA reported receiving 126 entries, with each entry judged by two landscape contractors who traveled statewide to view projects.
For Garden View, these wins celebrate what our clients and communities experience every day: craftsmanship you can see, systems that perform, and maintenance programs that keep landscapes thriving season after season.
Six “Best in State” Wins for 2025
Garden View earned top recognition across a broad mix of categories—spanning design/build, renovation, residential installation, and multiple tiers of HOA and multi-family maintenance.
1) Design/Build — Judge’s Award
Wolgemuth Project

This Judge’s Award recognizes standout design/build work where creativity, construction execution, and finish quality come together in a way that’s hard to ignore. From spatial flow to detailing and build discipline, this honor reflects the kind of project where every line, elevation, and material transition matters.
2) Landscape Renovation — First Place
Capanna/Roddick Project

Renovation work is equal parts vision and precision: upgrading a landscape while respecting existing site conditions, solving real-world constraints, and elevating the end result in a measurable way. This First Place award recognizes a transformation that delivers both beauty and performance.
3) Small Residential Installation — Judge’s Award
Head/Tsai Project

Small residential projects are often the most detail-intensive—tight access, high homeowner expectations, and little room for error. A Judge’s Award in this category highlights exceptional execution, clean finishes, and a final product that feels intentional from every angle.
4) Large HOA Maintenance — First Place
Mountain Cove HOA

Large HOA maintenance is about consistency at scale: proactive planning, strong horticultural standards, clean edges, safe and functional common areas, and a team that can deliver week after week. This First Place win recognizes an ongoing program that keeps a large community looking its best.
5) Small HOA Maintenance — First Place
Wilson Summit

In smaller HOAs, the details show immediately—every plant choice, pruning cut, and irrigation adjustment is visible. This First Place award celebrates a maintenance approach built on responsiveness, craftsmanship, and pride of place.
6) Apartments/Condos/Townhouses Maintenance — First Place
Cordova Park Villa HOA

Multi-family properties need landscapes that are welcoming, durable, and consistently cared for—while supporting resident use patterns and year-round curb appeal. This First Place recognition honors the daily discipline and planning required to keep high-traffic environments looking polished.
Why These Awards Matter
The CLCA Trophy Awards are designed to spotlight the “best of the best” in California landscaping, and CLCA describes the program as a way to recognize outstanding landscapes, build pride in superior workmanship, and give public recognition for creating a more beautiful California.
At the Annual Convention, CLCA also frames the Trophy Awards ceremony as a showcase of excellence—celebrating top-tier craftsmanship through real-world, in-person evaluation.
For Garden View, being recognized across both construction and maintenance categories is especially meaningful. It highlights what we aim to deliver as a full-service partner:
- Design and build quality that holds up under scrutiny
- Renovations that solve problems and elevate livability
- Installations where details and finish work matter
- Maintenance programs that protect long-term value and keep landscapes healthy
